About Us

For more than 40 years, our clinic has been dedicated to helping people overcome pain and restore their quality of life. Instead of offering temporary fixes, we focus on uncovering and treating the true cause of pain. Under the leadership of Dr. Mary Jo Johnson, our team of chiropractors and medical professionals work together to care for issues involving  the spine, joints, muscles, and nerves.

Our approach provides immediate relief when possible, followed by a comprehensive, holistic plan that may include chiropractic care, functional medicine, physical therapies, and massage therapy.

In 2023, we expanded our services to introduce advanced joint regeneration therapies, allowing us to better treat complex joint and tissue problems. We offer an FDA-approved procedure that reduces pain and inflammation from spinal arthritis and supports the repair of injured tissues, restoring ease of mobility. This treatment is medication-free, surgery-free, non-invasive, and long-lasting.

We pride ourselves on offering care in a warm, family-oriented environment, with convenient parking right at our front door. Here, you’ll feel known and supported. Our staff will know your name, and you’ll know theirs.

Our philosophy is simple: treat the whole person, not just the symptoms. By integrating chiropractic care, functional medicine, and regenerative medicine, we help our patients achieve better health, better performance, and a better life.

Meet the Team

Dr. Mary Jo Johnson, DC

It wasn’t until Dr. Johnson resolved a health issue of her own with chiropractic care that she changed her major from journalism to pre-med and began the journey of chiropractic studies. She graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1985. Dr. Johnson has been practicing in Indianapolis since 1993. Dr. Johnson enjoys providing whole-person health care to people of all ages, the very young to the elderly. She observes that structural, nutritional, and emotional stress causes a person to become ‘sick’ or in pain. She views it her challenge to diagnose which of the sources of stress are causing a person to be ‘out of balance’ and provide appropriate care, information, and instruction in order to assist the individual to return to a state of balanced well-being. In addition to being advanced certified in Activator Technique, Dr. Johnson is certified as a Digestive Health Specialist.

Dr. Antonio Carrelli

Dr. Carrelli received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Health Science and then his Doctor of Medicine degree in 1984 from Case Western University. He worked as an anesthesiologist at Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie from 1987 – 1991. From 1991 to 2019 he practiced anesthesiology at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. Currently he serves as the Medical Director for Volunteers of America of Ohio and Indiana and is a founding member of the Medication Assisted Treatment Program for Substance Use at Volunteers of America. Dr. Carelli is married with grown children and enjoys the great outdoors, pickleball and billiards.
